Aye Thar Yar Golf Resort is located near Taunggyi, about 30 minutes from Heho airport or 20 minutes drive northeast from Inle Lake. Situated more than 3000 feet above sea level in the highlands of Southern Shan State, it receives a refreshing cool breeze all year round and boasts beautiful mountain and valley scenery.
The gameplay is rewarding as the back nine runs through woodland and boasts views of the hill station. The front nine is more challenging and features picturesque panoramas of the surrounding mountain range. The course is beautiful and the area offers diverse tourist attractions not too far away to delight golfers and their families alike.
This course offers a challenge to accomplished golfers as well as being suitable for golfers a lot newer to the game. It’s a well maintained course with a well stocked pro shop and the restaurant offers great local cuisine.
